JACQUELINE McDONOUGH
Jacqueline (Christy) McDonough founded Camp Jamison in 2008 and is the organization’s Executive Director. While at camp she serves as the Upper Camp Director. She created Camp Jamison because of the positive impact summer camp had on her life and her unwavering belief that all children should get to experience the social and emotional benefits of summer camp and s’mores. Jacqueline has been in the education field for over ten years serving as a teacher and coach in various grade levels and across content areas. She has received numerous awards for her work in schools as well as in the community such as the Superintendent’s Emerging Leader Award from Universal Companies and was a nominee for DC Teacher of the Year. She currently resides in Rockville, Maryland with her husband and two children, Lola and Jude, who all also love Camp Jamison.
